Nat Wei is the founding patron of ACT network, the parent charity of Mission Year.

Nat is a social entrepreneur, interested in social reform, and a citizen with a keen interest in developing civil society solutions to social problems. Nat was a former advisor with the government on the Big Society, works with the Community Foundation Network to develop local responses to the Big Society, and serves in the House of Lords as the youngest and only active Chinese peer. Nat lives with his family in Shoreditch, East London. He is also the Director of Shoreditch Ventures, an exciting new social reform initiative that will be launched in the coming months.

Jessica  spent seven years with The Regeneration Trust on the World’s End Estate in West London working directly with families affected by the complexities of material and educational poverty, a benefits culture and social exclusion. Jessica has also been involved in the early stages of several projects tackling issues of exclusion in London: FACE to Face provides training, interest-free loans and ongoing support to people starting their own businesses in the Brixton area; Only Connect is an arts company working with prisoners, ex-offenders and young people at risk of crime. As London Director for Act Network, Jessica draws on front line experience and that of a wide network of practitioners tackling issues of social exclusion in the UK

Susannah studied Theology at Cambridge University and prior to joining the Act Network worked for the Evangelical Alliance for over 2 years as a Public Theology Researcher. Susannah joined the Act Network team in January 2010 to launch Mission Year. Susannah is involved in a lively church in Peckham and is passionate about seeing local churches impact their communities. Susannah is currently studying part-time for a Masters in Politics and Theology, and enjoys working out what theology should look like in practice!

Rosamund studied English at Oxford University before first joining the Act Network as intern, way back in the early days of Mission Year. Returning from working in the Middle East and training with Iris Ministries’ Harvest School of Missions in Mozambique, Rosamund is passionate about inspiring people to live the radical life of love that Jesus showed us. She loves talking to anything that moves about living life intentionally, and would gladly leap at a chance to enjoy a coffee and chat with anyone interested in hearing more about Mission Year.
